Stratus Technologies, Inc has launched the latest 2.5 version of the Emerging Network Telecommunication Infrastructure Environment (ENTICE) product, a full range family product of Stratus fault-tolerant ftServer systems.

The new ENTICE 2.5 product offers a complete control services and software foundation

for high-quality VoIP and IN/AIN services. The product is fully integrated solution, which offers the most reliable, flexible and complete infrastructure to their telecoms carriers and service providers. The range of Stratus ftServer systems is available from decentralized, mission critical applications among Tier 2 or 3 providers, where models are suited for Central Office deployments requiring support for high call volume, multiple services and intensive data storage. The features of the ENTICE 2.5 product is given below:

1) It offers a triple Play service for VoIP, broadband, and TV
2) The new ENTICE 2.5 product offers wholesale VoIP
3) It has residential/enterprise VoBB
4) It has hosted IP Centrex
5) It provides wireless services to users
6) It provides long distance service

The ENTICE 2.5 family products includes Session Border Controller; E-REV Residential/Enterprise VoIP; Softswitch; and Enhanced Services Tandem/International Gateway VoIP Gateway. These products are based on open services architecture, which easily combines a number of modules. The Stratus’ ftServer line is one of the most reliable Xeon processor-based servers, which ideal for telecoms use. The ftServer systems combine Red Linux computing with Stratus’ exclusive Continuous Processing technology.

The new ENTICE 2.5 product allows customers to interconnect between legacy telecoms network and next generation VoIP/IMS Services using the Stratus Inter-network Services Signaling Gateway (ISSG). Users would be able to offer IN based solutions like Number Portability, VPN, HLR, and pre-paid solutions to their IP customers
